Secondary Education
Lynwood Unified's Secondary Education Department is committed to offering a diverse and dynamic range of opportunities that foster student achievement and growth. Serving grades 7-12, we provide a comprehensive selection of programs designed to prepare students for success in both college and career. These include dual enrollment options with local colleges, career technical education (CTE) pathways in fields like health and biomedical sciences, and immersive STEM exploration.
In addition, we offer rigorous academic opportunities such as Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) courses to challenge and inspire students to push their limits. These programs not only help students excel academically but also prepare them for the demands of higher education and the workforce.
Our dedication to fostering a learning environment where all students can thrive is reflected in our strong academic rankings, including high graduation rates and the recognition of our high schools among the best in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. Through these initiatives, we are proud to empower students to reach their full potential and achieve their academic and professional goals.
