The District is set to open construction bids on October 15, with the contract award scheduled for the Board of Education meeting on October 24. A groundbreaking ceremony is anticipated shortly after the contract award, symbolizing the start of a new chapter for Lynwood High School.

Teams have been working diligently to submit to the state for various approvals and reimbursement for the different phases of the project. Further environmental testing on the soil is currently underway before moving to the next phase, which includes opening bids for contractors and starting the deep soil mixing process this fall.

The soil Stabilization process has been completed, with the construction bidding process set to begin in August 2024.
