Career Technical Education
Career Technical Education (CTE) at Lynwood Unified provides students with the skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience needed to excel in today’s competitive workforce. Students are introduced to a variety of elective courses that lay the foundation for future career pathways in high school.
Starting at the middle school level, students can explore electives such as technology, engineering, and digital media, sparking their interest in fields like design, robotics, and computer science. As students progress to high school, they can further specialize in a wide range of CTE pathways, including Biomedical Sciences, Computer Science, Culinary Arts, Engineering, Film and Video, Performing Arts, and Photography.
These programs not only prepare students for direct entry into high-demand industries but also offer industry-recognized certifications and college credits, giving them a head start in both higher education and the workforce.
Whether through hands-on projects, internships, or real-world applications, Lynwood Unified’s CTE programs empower students to explore their passions, gain invaluable experience, and graduate with the skills to thrive in the careers of tomorrow.
