On Feb. 9, Lynwood High School freshmen had the opportunity to learn more about their social and emotional health during an Achievement, Commitment and Excellence (ACE) workshop in partnership with the EduCare Foundation.
EduCare Foundation is an afterschool program that focuses on helping students manage their emotions, foster and maintain healthy relationships, set and achieve goals and make positive choices for themselves.
Throughout the event, students engaged in a series of activities geared toward getting them out of their comfort zones, including ice breakers, team-building sessions and mindfulness thinking exercises.
