Lynwood Unified enjoyed a successful summer enrichment program that was enhanced by a grant from the LA County Summer Learning Initiative. The Initiative, a partnership between the California Community Foundation, the LA County Office of Education, and the Greater LA Education Foundation, awarded a $45,000 grant to the District to support the free, three-week Virtual Summer Program.
The summer program included a focus on English and math standards along with physical fitness, art, dance, and history. Think Together and P.S. Arts were partners in the program while the Lynwood Partner Educational Foundation helped the District secure the CCF grant.
