Superintendent Gudiel R. Crosthwaite met with Firebaugh High School students on Sept. 13 to get feedback on school practices and environment during the year's first Superintendent Student Advisory Council.
Nineteen students met with the Superintendent and completed a variety of exercises that allowed them to contribute ideas to improve Lynwood Unified schools. Students suggested green clubs and murals that would bring character to school sites, as well as increased school supplies and heightened expectations from their educators.
Crosthwaite will meet with other schools and students throughout the year.
