Dear Lynwood Unified parents, guardians and community,
Late on Thursday, we received information about a possible incident at Firebaugh High School. As a District, we take the safety of our students and staff seriously. Out of an abundance of caution, we investigated this matter and cooperated with the Sheriff’s Department to ensure that all of our students and staff are safe.
At this time all members of the Lynwood Unified School District community are safe to participate in all school-related activities. We will continue to monitor this situation carefully and thoroughly. Rest assured that we take all information about possible incidents very seriously and work closely with law enforcement to ensure safety.
