Lynwood Unified School District Home

Like many California school districts, Lynwood Unified has fewer students due to lower birth rates and fewer families with elementary school-age children. With funding tied to attendance, fewer students mean less state funding, while costs continue to rise. The District will implement budget-conscious measures to address these challenges while maintaining high-quality programs and services.

After an intense series of rounds, Diego Martinez from Will Rogers Elementary School emerged victorious. He will advance to the LA County Regional Spelling Bee on March 19 to represent Lynwood Unified.
